Folds Grand Rapids www.foldsgr.org was founded in 2016 by three West Michiganders who were inspired by the nationwide Folds of Honor and their Patriot Day Golf Outing Fundraiser.

Creating the local fundraiser became an ongoing passion and continue to grow in scope size and participation fundraising, size and participation year after year.

In 2019 Folds Grand Rapids decided to continue fundraising yet has changed the goal; an endowment for local students. The goal is $50,000 to be raised to start “spinning off” endowment scholarships managed and executed yearly through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Once we hit our goal, we shall start awarding to local college bound students who have fallen or disabled veteran parents in keeping with the national mission.

Every August we throw our local event in Grand Rapids to support veterans and first responders’ children.
